Sisters’ Trip to New York City – Part 2

Here are a few photos from the rest of our trip to NYC. We started our last day by taking the subway from Grand Central Station.

One World Trade Center is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex. It is the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere and the sixth-tallest in the world.

They are not messing around in NYC.

9/11 Memorial and Museum. What an emotional, exhausting visit but it was absolutely worth the trip. I figured we would be through it in an hour or so. About three hours later, we finally made it out.

I like this photo of the fountain.

My favorite meal of the whole trip. Thanks to my boss for the recommendation. This is a brussel sprouts and pancetta pizza from Motorino. Delish!

The cutest window decorations were at Macy’s. I loved them!

Night 2 show – The Lion King. It was good but we definitely liked the Rockettes better.    I felt like someone was watching me…

I love this girl for putting up with my crazy self!

Central Park. We gave in and rode through the park behind an electric bike. It was worth it.

Ghostbusters was filmed in the building with the towers behind us.

The fountain where the intro to “Friends” was filmed. It seems so much bigger on TV.

Bow Bridge. A lot of proposals happen here. I wonder how many people have been pushed over for saying no?

A selfie before taking off on our flight home. What a great trip and I am so glad to got to go with my sister!
